Hemingway wrote a story that had just six words and claims that it was his best work ever. It reads:

“For Sale: baby shoes, never worn.”

So I tried to write my story in six words. I had several thoughts and couldn’t decide on my favorite.

  1. “Boy and Music. Best friends forever.”
  2. “Lacks confidence. Girl keeps on looking.”
  3. “Tried normal. Gave up. Lived fully.”
  4. “Ignoring old precedent, sets new precedent.”
  5. “I absolutely, most definitely, probably might.”
  6. “Work. Check email. Work. Check email.”
  7. “W.A.S.P., but doesn’t like to sting.”

What’s your story?
